The clips used in this project can be painted to match any little girl's room.
Young girls often have hair bows in many colors and styles to coordinate with each outfit they own. A magnetic board to hang your bows makes it easy to keep the collection organized. It also keeps the bows from getting crushed in a drawer.
Instructions
1. Select binder clips from your local hobby store to hold the bows. They need to be flat on one side and have a spring mechanism to hold the bow. Small clothes pins also work well.
2. Apply a strip of hot glue to the flat side of a small clip. Press a small magnet against it until it adheres. It may take a few minutes for the glue to dry.
3. Make one magnetic clip for each bow in your collection, or for each of the clips in the package.
4. Mount the metal sheet by drilling a hole in each top corner and hanging it on nails, or by using double-sided adhesive strips on the back.
5. Pinch the bow between the arms of the clip, and stick the clip to the metal sheet.
