Instructions
Create a Felt Design
1. These green stars have been cut out of felt.
Create a design and choose colors for your hair clip.
2. Wool can be washed in hot water to produce felted wool in interesting patterns.
Purchase the felt at a craft store. Consider using high quality wool felt.
3. Cut out your design from the felt. The design can be made up of several of the same or different pieces of felt.
4. Complete your felt design by gluing or sewing it together.
5. Decide how you want to position the felt design on the alligator clip, and then apply glue to the top side of the alligator clip.
6. Press the felt design onto the back of the alligator clip and place the clip where it won't be disturbed until the glue is set.
Alternative Method
7. Cut out a felt circle slightly smaller in diameter than the length of the alligator clip.
8. Cover one side of the felt circle with glue and place the felt circle on the inside of the clip with the glue side facing out toward the top side of the clip.
9. Glue the felt design to the felt circle on the clip, and place the clip where it won't be disturbed until the glue is set.
10. Attach the design to the felt circle.
