Lollipop
When you have little girls, it's fun and easy to make various styles of hair clips for them to use. You can decorate them to look like lots of kid-friendly objects, such as candy and lollipops. Lollipop hair clips give a sense of whimsy to any outfit and your little girl is sure to love them. You can even get your daughter involved in making the hair clips with you.
Instructions
1. Cut a small circle out of your colored felt about one inch in diameter. You will use this as your lollipop. Use embroidery thread to stitch a spiral on the inside of the circle of felt. The spiral should start in the middle and go all the way around several times until you reach the edge of the felt.
2. Cut your brown felt into a strip with a circle on one end. The circle should be the same size as the one you used for the lollipop. Use the glue gun to glue the brown circle onto the back of the other circle, creating a stem sticking out from the bottom of the lollipop.
3. Cover the top of the alligator clip with the ribbon that you have chosen. Use hot glue to attach it. Attach the clip to the back of your lollipop (the brown circle) using hot glue. Let the glue cool completely before using your hair clip. Repeat the entire process to make a matching lollipop hair clip.
