Recurve bows

Types

One-piece recurve bows (containing risers and limbs constructed from a sole piece of material) are harder to draw than others, because they are harder to bend. Take-downs with metal risers (made out of cast metal alloys or machined metal alloys) are detachable allowing for easy shooting and drawing. Take downs with wooden risers (have weaker risers than other recurve bows since they are wood) have limbs and risers that are able to be separated.
