Display handmade headbands
on an upright canister.
Display handmade headbands at a craft fair so that potential customers can see every style you have for sale. Allowing customers to see all of the headbands you have to offer in a single display area or setting makes it easy for them to decide which piece they want. Wear one of your creations while you work in the craft fair. While you won't be able to sell this piece, you'll show how well the headbands stand up to regular use and how they look on a person.
Instructions
Create a Display
1. Remove the lid from the canister.
2. Place the canister on top of the drop cloth with the opening facing down.
3. Spray the canister with an even coat of paint and allow it to dry. Spray a second time. It is better to use several light coats than one heavy one. Allow the canister to dry overnight.
4. Fill a plastic grocery bag with small stones. Place the filled bag inside the canister and replace the lid.
Arrange Headbands
5. Cover your craft show table with a tablecloth, if you are using one.
6. Place the filled canister on the table. If you are using more than one canister, slip a book underneath the tablecloth to create a display with different levels.
7. Slip headbands around the canister to allow shoppers to see the styles without touching them. Display similar styles and colors together, and replace items as they sell to keep the display full.
8. Place a mannequin head next to the headband canister and add one of your headbands to the head to show it in use.
