Instructions
1. Contact local embroidery retailers. Most embroidery shops offer special embroidery or monogramming deals and hair bow style, clip and color options. In addition, professional embroidery service provides customers a wide range of monogram font styles. Customers then simply choose the color, font or symbol style and size of their monogram.
2. Shop online for made-to-order hair bows, accessory specific items or general embroidery services. See resources section below for an example of where to get a hair bow monogrammed.
3. Buy an embroidery sewing machine or a regular sewing machine with an embroidery function to make your own monogrammed hair bows. Keep in mind when shopping that many sewing machine manufacturers now offer monogram fonts as a pre-programmed machine function.
4. Order from a school or team oriented uniform company. Most companies that sell cheerleader, band or school or team oriented uniforms also offer embroidery services (such as monogrammed jackets, uniform accessories, cuffs or hats).
5. Hand embroider a hair bow with the monogram font or symbol style of your choice. If all else fails or if you prefer to add a personal touch, sift through monogram styles online, in books or by simply printing out a font style from a word processing program. Hand embroidery takes skill, patience and time, but a hand-embroidered hair bow sewn for a small child or loved often can become a treasured keepsake.
