Turn a mess of curling ribbon into an organized collection in a few minutes.
Curling ribbon, because of its natural curliness, can make a huge mess in your craft or gift wrapping space, if you don't find a functional storage solution. Store-bought ribbon storage can be quiet costly, especially if you have a considerable amount of ribbon to store. Save yourself a few bucks by making your own, easily expandable, curling ribbon storage from an inexpensive plastic storage container.
Instructions
1. Remove the lid from the clear plastic container.
2. Drill a grid of 1/4-inch holes on all four sides of the container with the holes being spaced an inch apart from side to side and top to bottom.
3. Place the balls or spools of ribbon inside the container. Thread the ends of your curling ribbon through the holes one spool or ball at a time until they are all threaded through a hole.
4. Replace the lid on the container.
5. Leave a tail of ribbon hanging out each hole when you cut a length of ribbon so you have something to grab next time around.
