The main thing needed to create a loop bow is ribbon. The ribbon is the whole piece that is needed because it is actually what becomes the bow. Choose the ribbon color and design of your choice. The best size of ribbon to make loop hair bows is at least ribbon at least 1 and a half inches wide or larger. You will also need scissors to cut the ribbon, wire to tie the ribbon and a barrette to place the loop bow into your hair.
What to Do
Measure the ribbon to the length you need it. Usually fold the ribbon in half twice to get the size of loop you want. Loop the ribbon twice creating four loops on the bow. Take a small piece of wire and wrap it around the center of the bow to hold it in place. Take the extra wire available and tie the loop bow onto the barrette. Place the barrette in your hair and enjoy the look of the loop bow in you hair.
