Instructions
Dress '80s for Halloween
1. Apply your makeup first. Use a thick layer of foundation, a moderate amount of blush and plenty of black eyeliner on upper and lower eyelids. Use gray or dark blue eyeshadow to create smoky eyes, and finish the look with red or bright pink lipstick.
2. Pull on the tights first, then the skirt, then don the top. Arrange one of the sides to hang off your shoulder. Buckle the belt around your waist. It can hang loose just a little if you cannot pull it tight.
3. Put on the shiny costume jewelry. Start with large hoop earrings, then layer on several chains of varying lengths, and add a few bracelets to one or both wrists.
4. Pull your hair into a side ponytail with the fluffy hair elastic, or clip back part of it with a large clip-on bow.
5. Put on the Dr. Martens boots or other short boots. The Dr. Martens will take a little while to lace up. Other types of leather boots may be equipped with zippers and slip onto your feet quickly.
6. Put on your lacy fingerless gloves.
