Mesh bows decorate gift boxes and wreaths and make innovative centerpiece decorations for the dinner table. Secure a large mesh bow to the top of your Christmas tree and let the excess drape down the tree instead of using garland. There are many possibilities for using mesh bows that you can make at home.
Instructions
1. Use your non-dominate hand to secure one end of the 5-yard piece of mesh. Gather up the hanging section with your free hand and form loops the size of your forearm. Hold the loops closed with your securing hand until you have a bouquet of loops, alternating the placement of loops on each side of your hand.
2. Do not let go of the bouquet. Place the end of the 3-yard piece of mesh into the center of the bouquet. Repeat the loop folding process to form a large two-toned bow.
3. Tightly wrap the crafting wire around the center of the bow. Twist tie the wire closed at the back. Wrap the ribbon around the center of the bow to hide the wire and tie it in the back.
