Minnie Mouse Baby Shower Ideas
Minnie mouse baby showers are ideal for mother's who love Disney characters. Select this theme if the baby's room is decorated with a Disney theme such as Mickey and Minnie. The mother is sure to love being showered with gifts at a Minnie Mouse shower decorated with her preferences in mind.
Food and Cake
Include plenty of food for the guests at the party. Some excellent choices miniature Minnie Mouse cakes and Disney-inspired fruit trays. You can order specially made fruit trays or make them yourself. Choose fruits such as pineapple, watermelon and honeydew melons because they can be cut into shapes easily. Place the fruit on a cutting board and cut them into thick slabs first. Once this is done, use a Minnie Mouse cookie cutter to cut the fruit pieces. Add chocolate dipped strawberries on the platter for even more variety.
Decor
Choose Minnie-inspired decor such as black and white polka dot streamers and large Minnie Mouse balloons. Some party supply stores even have balloons that are four feet tall. Use white table cloth with Minnie Mouse plates and cups. You can choose simple paper plates or, if you prefer something more formal, use white china. Center each table with red roses in a vase and Minnie Mouse items on each table such as a Minnie doll. Give these items to the mother at the end of the shower. Minnie Mouse items such as purses and picture frames are good choices.
Minnie Mouse Clothing
Ask the guests at the shower to dress in Minnie Mouse themed clothing such as a black and white polka dot shirt with a red tops and black dress shoes. Other clothing ideas include plain black skirts with embroidered Minnie Mouse shirts. You can also ask your guest to wear Minnie Mouse hats or red bows in their hair. This is just one of the finishing touches that can make the shower even more fun.
